I have used Les Foggon continously now for the best part of 10 years. The overiding reason is his reliability and above all communication. He always turns up when he says he will and always advises you of his schedule to manage your expectations. Commonly with builders their reliability is very poor. Understandably managing various jobs at one time so they have a continous work flow and because of this they will attend to others when they should be with you. Les always informs and communicates with you which helps build trust and confidence. His work is very good. Always completed in the minimum of time without fuss. He always advises of the best solution and not the most expensive solution in my experience and his rates are very fair. Just having someone so reliable and competent on hand to call is worth every penny. Les has completed re-roofing jobs, brickwork, joinery, guttering and a whole host of construction jobs for me over the years. If he can't do something he will tell me and always endeavours to recommend someone who is equally reliable and competent. Sounds too good to be true but he's a godsend and a very nice bloke too. Replaced a large double-glazed wooden window in a 19th century cottage with a new one that matched.
Les was a great communicator, prompt with appointments, and did an outstanding job. The window has now been through some heavy winds and torrential rain and is working perfectly. When talking about the windows, I mentioned to Les a small double-glazed pane in an external door that had failed (had mist inside it). Les ordered the part and replaced this window AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. He is a craftsman who takes pride in his work. Customer in Chester-le-Street, 19 November 2013
